Hotel Contessa - Suites On The Riverwalk - San Antonio

the location was central, close enough to the alamo, the mall, roverboat cruises and a ton of restaurants and the all the historic sights like the alamo. for dinner, we went to nonna osteria, it was a couple of blocks away from the venue.

Great amenities, marvellous and awesome setting.

Central location to everything I said with astonishing views. Appetising food in the restaurants such as Yo, located 5 min away.

The room was spacious and luxurious, with a comfortable bed and a separate living area with exposed brick wall details. The staff, particularly Amanda at check-in, provided warm and friendly service. The hotel's location on the Riverwalk was perfect, with access to local attractions while being removed from the heavier tourist traffic.

The location is perfect, 15 minutes' walk to Say Si.

Stayed here for 1 night, the hotel was wonderful and clean, had astonishing views, marvellous location on river walk. The idea to include tea/coffee making equipment and a fridge in the suite was nice. Good service, though a few employees were not particularly friendly. The pool was nice and I had wonderful drinks in the downstairs bar.

The location near the river walk was fantastic, giving easy access to all the downtown attractions like The Alamo and Ripley's Believe It or Not. I really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor seating and delicious meals at the restaurant; both brunch and dinner were delightful experiences. the room itself could have used a deeper clean as there were significant stains on the carpet and couch. despite the cleanliness issues, I had a great time celebrating my daughter's birthday with thoughtful touches from the staff.

The rooftop pool offered a stunning view, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The room layout provided a spacious feel, particularly with the separate sitting area that truly elevated my stay when I wanted to relax indoors.

Walking into this place, I found the carpet stained and the tub drain stubbornly closed. Some fixtures were chipped or moldy, and the noise from the elevator echoed all night, which really put a damper on my night's rest. Slow service, especially with food delivery not coming directly to the room, was inconvenient. Plus, the elevators felt like they were taking their time; only two were functional while I was there. Then there was the notable charge added for food delivery that felt like an unnecessary sting.
